Former Nigerian U-23 star, Fernando Adi has won the Major League Soccer Cup for the second time in a row.

The 30-year-old Lagos-conceived moves to MAPFRE Stadium on 27 January from FC Cincinnati following a year spell.

Adi was an unused substitute in Saturday’s last with objectives from Derrick Etienne Jr and support Lucas Zelarayan.

This season, he showed up fundamentally as a substitute.
