Sports: Kaizer Chiefs Duo Suspended For League Opener

Kaizer Chiefs key dou are set to miss this season league opener due to suspension carried from last season.

The Premier Soccer League demonstrated the top flight suspensions which have been carried over from last season.

This edition of the competition will get the 2020/21 campaign underway this weekend, though the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be except key players.

Chiefs will host Maritzburg United at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, with Willard Katsande and Lebogang Manyama enjoying no part in the encounter due to suspension. However, Maritzburg will additionally be besides Kwanda Mngonyama.

Meanwhile, Pirates, who will host Cape Town City at the Orlando Stadium, will have Innocent Maela on the suspension list. 

Tebogo Langerman will also be serving the first of his two-match ban this weekend when Mamelodi Sundowns lock horns with Bloemfontein Celtic.
