Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 08:09 am

Golden Eaglets of Nigeria were defeated away from home, the team lost 1-0 to West African rivals Ivory Coast. This was in the ongoing West African Football Union (WAFU) B Tournament Togo.

With Group B having just three groups and each group to play just two matches, the odds of the Eaglets advancing has been made more troublesome with the first day of the season misfortune.

Having begun with a misfortune in Lome, the Golden Eaglets are sentenced to win their other Group game against most outstanding adversaries Ghana on Saturday.

Both Nigeria and Ghana have seven cadet world titles among them, and conflicts between them at any level typically have an additional edge.
