ssfa boosts refereeing standards with week long training in rumbek
During seven intensive training days, the South Sudan Football Association educated its referees in Rumbek. The organization (SSFA) trained 30 local referees plus officials from various zones to advance refereeing practices throughout South Sudan.
Representatives of the Rumbek Local Football Association teamed up with referees holding roles in Group A South Sudan Cup match areas that were hosted in Rumbek. The full training program targeted the main aspects of refereeing necessary to improve officiating performance:
All referees who attended the workshop passed their Cooper fitness test because it showed their physical readiness to handle competitive match officiating.
