Sudan government, rebel groups sign peace deal

Sudan’s transitional government signed a peace deal with various rebellion corporations on Saturday, amid excessive hopes for an end to years of conflict in regions across the country.

The settlement between the government and the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF), an alliance of riot groups, used to be signed at a ceremony in Juba, the capital of neighboring South Sudan.
