President Magufuli has been undoubtedly been the utmost favourite for the elections has he has had a successful campaigns against all opposition in Tanzania, Magufuli pulled 84% of the total which is quite impressive.
Magufuli closest Challenger Tundu Lissu pulled 13% of the vote compared to 84% of Magufuli’s, the rest of the opposition got the remaining of the 3% of the total vote.
Tundu Lissu has accused President John Magufuli of rigging the election in his favour, Lissu further stated the snippet of fraud in the just concluded elections of the country. Some analyst are worried about retribution in the electoral fallout between the two candidate.
