The World: Closure Of Public Schools In New York To Reduce COVID-19 Spread In US

Government authorities is set to close all public school in New York, this is a means curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic that has taken the world by storm, This closure is caused by the spike in Covid-19 cases in the US.

As indicated by various media sources, there are around 300,000 understudies learning face to face at New York City government funded schools.

Richard Carranza, the chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, said beginning from Thursday.

At any rate 290,000 cases and 24,100 passings have been recorded in New York City since the start of the pandemic.

As the second wave of coronavirus pandemic continues to spread like wildfire in European countries, the government authorities will be seeking preventive measures to curb this menace in their respective countries.
