The World: Greek Government Declares Lockdown Amidst Coronavirus

The Government of Greece has declared Nationwide lockdown, in the wake of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, this second lockdown would span for close to 4 weeks. This measure was put in place by the government, to reduce the spread of the virus.

This is the second time the nation goes into a public lockdown and it will follow a similar plan he stated, adding that this time just schools and kindergartens will stay open while secondary schools will close down.

Amongst those that are affected by the lockdown are small and large scale business. Only Emergency workers are excluded from the lockdown, who are only few in numbers compared to civil worker. The surge in coronavirus cases has skyrocketed in the time past.
