The World: Parcel sent to Trump containing poison intercepted

Law enforcement officials reportedly intercepted a package deal containing poison ricin sent to US President Donald Trump until now this week.

Citing two officers familiar with the matter, CNN stated two checks had been performed to confirm the presence of the deadly poison.

“All mail for the White House is sorted and screened at an off website online facility before accomplishing the White House,” it reported.

Secret service and the FBI are stated to be investigating the matter.

The deadly poison, ricin, is a “highly poisonous compound extracted from castor beans that has been used in terror plots,” in accordance to the report.
