The World: Two sheriff’s deputies from Los Angeles County shot in ambush

Two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies have been shot on Saturday night in an obvious ambush and are in necessary condition, local police stated on social media.

One male officer and one girl officer were injured in the shooting, which took area close to the Metro station in Compton at about 7 p.m. nearby time, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said, adding that the deputies have been sitting in their patrol car at the time of the attack and both were shot a couple of times.

The LA Sheriff’s Department stated both officers have been present process surgery at about eight p.m. nearby time, “They are each nonetheless fighting for their lives, so please maintain them in your thoughts and prayers,” the Department tweeted.
