AY Makun is not only a comedian but also a producer and an actor who generates his wealth due to his significant contribution to the entertainment and Comedy Industry. This legendary comedian is the richest comedian in Nigeria with a net worth of N3.2 Billion.

2. Ali Baba

Alibaba Akpobome is considered a comedic god-father for carving a niche for comedy in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry. With a net worth of N3 billion, he is the second richest comedian in Nigeria. He is the most awarded comedian in Nigeria with over 15 recognition to his name.

3. Basket Mouth

Bright Okpocha, who is popularly known as Basket Mouth, is the third richest comedian in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of N2 billion. He won the National Comedy Award and the Best Stand-up Comedian of the year in 2005 and 2006. In 2021, along with fellow comedian Mr Funny, he was nominated in the maiden edition of The Humour Awards Academy.

4. I Go Dye

With a net worth of N2 billion, Francis Agoda, who is popularly known as I Go Dye, takes fourth place in the list of the Top 10 richest comedians in Nigeria. He began his career by presenting Mock news at the Delta State Broadcasting Service. He is the organizer of several international comedy shows such as “I Go Dye Standing” which was held in several countries across the world.

5. Bovi Ugboma

Bovi Ugboma, with a net worth of N1.5 billion, is the fifth richest comedian in Nigeria in 2024. He began his career in a Nigerian Sitcom titled Extended Family, as an actor in 2007. He then furthered his career as a stand-up comedian in the following year by performing in “Nights of a Thousand Laugh”, one of the biggest comedy shows in the country.

6. Julius Agwu

Julius Agwu, taking the sixth position with a net worth of N1 billion, is another pioneer of the industry on the list. He began his career as an actor but found his fortune in stand-up comedy. He is said to be the first comedian to cross the N1 billion net worth mark.
