According to the court documents, George Ngure Kariuki, 72, gave false information to an employee of the Kajiado North land registry.
Kariuki pleaded not guilty before the Principal Magistrate Ms Ruguru Ngotho at Ngong Law Courts Kajiado County.
According to a charge sheet and documents produced in court by the DCI Kajiado office, Kariuki and other persons who were not in court, procured through revocation the registration of land parcel number Kajiado/Kipeto/1452 by falsely pretending that the said piece of land was fraudulently obtained by one David Mahugu Thondu a fact he knew was false.
It was also alleged that Kariuki informed the Land Registrar at Kajido North office Mr Joel Mwinzi that the parcel was fraudulently transferred to Mr Mahugu Thondio while he still has the original title deed, and has never offered it for sale to anyone, information that was false and made said officer to revoke the said tittle deed.
