UAE Leads Global Trust Rankings in 2025 Edelman Trust Barometer

The UAE people remain strong in their devotion for their business and government entities. The 2025 Edelman Trust Barometer assessed trust levels across 28 countries and confirmed that UAE surpasses all other nations. UAE citizens maintain excellent confidence in their governing institutions yet other nations face issues with false news dissemination and economic challenges. Research reveals that residents of UAE have strong confidence in their government because 82% put their trust in it which surpasses the global trust mark of 52%. This puts the UAE at the top of all countries ranked for level of public trust.

Business sectors receive high trust at 76% throughout the nation because people trust them more than the global standard of 62%. The country preserves excellent levels of trust within its professional communities particularly since teachers achieve 85% trust and fellow citizens score 79%, demonstrating robust community networking and operational trust mechanisms.

The UAE achieves exceptional global trust levels that people place in international institutions. The nation ranks among only one percent of countries that have high trust in both the UN and EU institutions (66%). The UAE stands alone because it connects local trust networks to worldwide organizational support systems.

The UAE stands out from worldwide trends as people here experience economic confidence and trust stability despite global issues such as truth uncertainties and social differences. World Economic Forum attendees learned that 63% of global citizens now find it hard to tell between truth and lies in information. Global research shows a strong 13-point decrease in trust levels between high and low-income groups worldwide.
