Aiming to lower poverty, ease calamities, and advance world peace, the UAE’s global humanitarian effect transcends countries, races, and religions with strong roots of compassion, solidarity, and volunteerism.
The UAE’s efforts highlight its leadership in ensuring that charity is a sustainable endeavor as the globe honors International Day of Charity. Emphasizing healthcare, education, and housing, the UAE aims to help the most needy groups by means of several projects.
The idea put forward by UAE Founding Father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahaney is among the most important foundations of the country’s humanitarian help. Under President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this heritage has blossom with campaigns such “For Your Sake, Somalia,” the “Warm Winter” program, and most recently, “Bridges of Giving” in 2023 for victims of the Türkiye-Syria earthquake.
