Citizens of Uganda are highly anticipating the presidential election in the country,this election sees incumbent president Yoweri Museveni take on popular activist and opposition members Bobi Wine. President Yoweri Museveni is seeking re-election while Bobi Wine seeks to be freshly elected for the post.
Nearly 18 million citizens are enrolled for the official and parliamentary polling form, which pits Museveni and his predominant National Resistance Movement (NRM) against a large group of resistance competitors and gatherings.
The 76-year-old has been president since 1986, making him one of Africa’s longest-serving pioneers.
His mission banners – each in the mark yellow of the decision gathering, and bearing a grinning Museveni in his folksy wide overflowed cap – are unhesitatingly checking during the time to his success.
“We are sure of triumph,” said the previous revolutionary pioneer in January.
