Victor Moses injured

Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 03:01 pm

Ex-Nigeria international Victor Moses faces lenghty spell on the sidelines at Inter Milan after suffering a muscle strain.

The injury of the 29-year-old Nigerian was confirmed on Monday at the Humanitas Research Hospital, after he underwent a scan.

‘Victor Moses underwent medical tests at the Humanitas Research Hospital in Rozzano this morning, with an MRI scan on his left thigh,’ Inter’s club statement read.

‘Results showed a strained muscle, with the player’s condition to be reassessed in the coming days.’

As a consequence of the diagnosis, the Nigerian will miss Inter’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg at Napoli on Thursday.

Inter trail 1-0 from the first leg due to a Fabian Ruiz goal.

Since his January move to Italy, Moses has played in seven games across all competitions, including three matches in Serie A.
