Naira Marley, a famous Nigerian singer and songwriter, is trending after the death of his former client Mohbad. People claim that Naira Marley is responsible for Mohbad’s death. What caused the death of Mohbad?

Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records. He left the record label in 2022. He reportedly died on 12 September 2023. His friends, family, colleagues and fans have been left devastated since the news of his death broke out on 12 September.

He was buried in the Ikorodu area of Lagos. The exact cause of the singer’s death was not known immediately. However, fans accused Marlian Records of killing the singer.

Fans said that Naira Marley relentlessly attacked Mohbad, which led to the singer leaving the label. Naira Marley has been trending on social media because of this reason. 

The police have started investigating the matter to know about the possible cause of his death.

‘I can’t kill Mohbad’ – Sam Larry

Samsom Erinfolami Balogun, popularly known as Sam Larry, said that he can never kill Mohbad. Sam Larry said that he loved Mohbad and he was like a brother to him.

Naira Marley breaks silence on Mohbad’s death

Naira Marley has finally broken his silence on Mohbad’s death. He said that the death of Mohbad has left him heartbroken. He further called on the authorities to investigate the whole matter. 

This comes as fans accused Naira Marley of playing a key role in Mohbad’s death. 

Meanwhile, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said that the police would thoroughly investigate the cause of Mohbad’s death.
