Why Kim Kardashian is attending Arsenal’s match against Sporting

Kim Kardashian, a famous American media personality and businesswoman, attended Thursday’s game between Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon at the Emirates Stadium in Holloway, London, England.

She also posted a story about the match on her Instagram. However, Why did Kim Kardashian attend Arsenal’s Europa League match against Sporting Lisbon? According to sources, Kim is believed to be in London to film a new documentary. Her son Saint is also believed to be an Arsenal fan, as reported by beIN SPORTS.

Kim attended the live match of Europa League soccer at the Emirates Stadium with her son Saint. The photos of the mother and son went viral on social media. Saint wore Arsenal’s home jersey during the match. He is reportedly a big fan of the Gunners.

What happened during the match?

Arsenal Football Club, an English professional football club based in London, were dumped out of the Europa League in the last-16 stage after losing the match to Sporting, a professional sports club based in Lisbon, on penalties.

Gabriel Martinelli, a Brazilian professional football player, missed his spot-kick. In the end, Sporting Lisbon won the match on penalties. 

In a grueling 120 minutes, Mikel Arteta, aimed for their first Premier League title in almost 20 years. After the match, he urged his Arsenal to focus on their remaining “finals” in the Premier League. Arsenal is set to play against Crystal Palace, a professional football club based in Selhurst, on Sunday.
