Will Cristiano Ronaldo Retire In 2025? Details Inside

Cristiano Ronaldo, a famous and professional footballer who plays as a forward for and captains both Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, could retire from football after his current contract with Al Nassr expires in 2025.

Legendary Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at possible retirement after the 2024/25 season. He also said that he wanted to examine his body to see if he can continue to play. His statement has shocked Football fans across the world.

What did Cristiano Ronaldo say?

Cristiano Ronaldo said, “I will continue to play this season and next. Then I will look at my body to see if I can continue or not. This game was very difficult, especially as it came after the national team games and subsequent trips.”

His statement came after Al Nassr’s game against Damac in their latest Saudi Pro League match on October 21. The footballer talked to the media after helping Al Nassr get a 2-1 win against Damac. 

Will Cristiano Ronaldo retire in 2025?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s current deal with Al Nassr expires in 2025. The legendary footballer could retire from football after the 2024/25 season. 

Earlier, he considered international retirement after being benched by Portugal at the 2022 World Cup. He joined the Saudi club after his deal at Manchester United was terminated in November 2022.
