5 South African Celebrities Dies In 2022

People who have lost someone close to them may feel grief and helplessness as a result of their loss. Unfortunately, because all humans are mortal, no one can prevent death from occurring.

Every minute, someone, including celebrities, breathes their last breath on this planet. The deaths of South African celebrities this year left a large void in the world.

1. Siyanda Sesimani (31 Years, 1990-2022)

Siyanda Sesimani was a South African actress who passed away recently. After spending some time in a coma, he died on March 11, 2022. He’s well known for his roles on The Estate and Soul City.

He was wounded during a residential break-in by mysterious criminals on February 15, 2022, and was put into a coma.

He spent some time in the intensive care unit before passing away shortly before his 32nd birthday.

2. DJ Dimplez (29 Years, 1922-2022)

DJ Dimplez, pseudonym Boitumelo Athiel Mooi, was one of the South African celebrities to pass away this year.

The 29-year-impact of the regional music & pop culture industries will be remembered warmly. A cerebral hemorrhage claimed the life of the disc jockey.

3. Riky Rick (34 Years, 1987-2022)

Riky Rick, alias Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, was a well-known rapper in the country. The musician grew up in Durban’s KwaMashu neighborhood. For years, the rapper has struggled with depression and drug abuse.

He allegedly hanged himself in his home using a rope. Despite efforts to protect his life, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

4. DJ Citi Lyts (32 Years, 1989-2022)

Sandile Mkhize, aka DJ Citi Lyts, is known primarily as the late rapper Prokid’s brother. Washa Washa & Vurra were among his many hits as a gifted musician.

Unfortunately, he died this year on Valentine’s Day at the age of 32. In Dube, Soweto, the artist was assaulted and shot to death, according to his family. At 12:30 a.m. he passed away.

5. Kuli Roberts (49 Years, 1972-2022)

Nomakula Kuli Roberts was a South African celebrity who died in 2022. She was a well-known actress, radio & television presenter, author, and admirer of fashion and beauty.

Her charming attitude and compassionate heart are remembered. The effervescent media celebrity died about 10 p.m. on February 9, 2022, while on her way to a radio interview.

Her death was attributed to a heart attack. The actual cause of death, however, has not been made public.
