75th Emmy Awards Celebrate TV’s Best Shows And Actors

The Emmy Awards are a big event in American television. They are like a huge celebration for TV shows, where the best ones get awards. This year, the 75th Emmy Awards happened on Monday night. It was delayed for a few months because of some strikes in Hollywood last year.

The Emmy Awards are known for recognizing the best TV shows and actors. This time, a TV show called “Succession” was expected to win a lot. This show is about a rich family and their business problems. It has been very popular.

But not as many people watch the Emmys as they used to. Last year, not many people watched it. This year, it was on the same time as a big football game and an important political event in the U.S., so even fewer people watched.

The Emmy Awards tried to make people interested by remembering old, famous TV shows like “The Sopranos,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “I Love Lucy.” These shows were very popular in the past.

People could watch the Emmys on Fox, a TV channel in the U.S. It started at 8 p.m. Eastern time. There was no special online streaming like for some other award shows, but people could watch it online through services like Hulu, YouTube TV, and Fubo the next day.

Anthony Anderson, an actor known for the show “black-ish,” hosted the Emmys. Many famous actors and comedians presented the awards.

The Emmys are voted on by people who work in TV. To be considered for this year’s awards, a show had to be on TV between June 2022 and May 2023.

This year, the Emmys celebrated their 75th time by having special segments about old, loved TV shows. Actors from these old shows came together to honor them.

The show “Succession” won a lot, just like people thought. It got awards for drama, and some of its actors won too. “The Bear” did really well in comedy, and a show called “Be*f” won best limited series. Elton John, a famous singer, won his first Emmy, making him an EGOT winner – someone who has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award.
