Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 08:14 am

There seems to be yet another political dispute in Mali, in the wake of a feud between an activist and the army. The bone of contention is the elements of National Transitional Council (NTC).

As indicated by an administration order distributed on November 10, the military was dispensed the a lot of the committee’s seats, removing 22 from 121.

The June 5 development attributed for the fights that prompted the fall of Ibrahim Boubacar Keita was given 8 seats while 11 went to ideological groups.

Common society bunches have blamed the military for looking to overwhelm the law-production organ and of a plot ‘to cover Malian majority rules system’.

Mali has been experiencing political crisis, which made ECOWAS and UN intervene after there was a political coup in the country. Citizens of Mali will be hoping peace and unity is restored for the sake of all.
