Big Brother Naija season 8 is set to start on 23 July 2023. It is going to be an All-Star season! The prize of BBNaija season 8 is One Hundred and Twenty Million Naira (N120,000,000).
A press conference for BBNaija season 8 was held on July 14, 2023. Fans can witness unpredictable twists and turns.
The show will run for 70 days from 23rd of July to 1st of October. It will broadcast at 7 pm on Africa Magic Showcase (Ch. 151), Africa Magic Urban (Ch 153) and Africa Magic Family (ch 154).
The eighth edition of Big Brother Naija will also air for 10 weeks on the 24-hour Big Brother dedicated channels, DStv ch. 198 and GOtv ch. 49.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who is known for hosting the reality show Big Brother Naija, is set to return again as the host of the show. The Nigerian media personality from Okija in Anambra State will host the new season, as confirmed by the show’s producers.
The show will also feature the famous pool and grill party and the Saturday Night Raves. Fans can expect their favorite housemates from past editions in BBN 8.
During the press conference, the Executive Head, Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice Nigeria, Busola Tejumola, said, “We are here today to confirm to you that the 8th edition is an All Stars edition.” She revealed that contestants for BBN 8 were selected from past seasons, taking into account their unique personalities.
The winner of BBN 8 will receive a grand prize of N120 million and other exciting rewards from the sponsors of the reality show. Organizers also have a surprise for fans.
On July 23 last year, Big Brother Naija returned for Season 7, with a cash prize of N50m and N50m worth of other prizes.
