Breaking: Nigerian airline layoff employees amid Coronavirus crisis

Nigeria’s major airline, Air Peace has been affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

Faced with “the devastating outcomes on its operations and monetary health”, the management of Air Peace stated in a statement that it had to take “a painful however prison decision” of brushing aside some of its pilots and reducing “the salaries of all staff. Airpeace employs nearly 3,000 employees.

Many airlines around the world have had to take comparable measures for their survival, as air site visitors has been deeply affected by way of the results of the covid-19 pandemic.

Nigeria has recently satisfied restrictive measures in an try to curb the pandemic, but the recuperation in economic endeavor stays partial.
