Cash App founder Bob Lee died in San Francisco, What was Bob Lee’s net worth?

Cash App founder and tech executive Bob Lee died in a local hospital in San Francisco, the City and County of San Francisco. What happened to Bob Lee? 

He was stabbed to death in San Francisco on Tuesday. Subsequently, he was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police reportedly found the 43-year-old tech executive at about 2.35 am local time on Tuesday in downtown San Francisco. Bob Lee’s father Rick Lee confirmed the news of his death.

The reason behind stabbing Bob Lee is still unclear. As of 6 April, no suspects have been named in the case. Police are still investigating the incident.

Who was Bob Lee?

Bob Lee was the founder of Cash App. The tech executive served as a chief product officer of MobileCoin, a cryptocurrency developed by MobileCoin Inc. He previously served as the CEO of Present, a position he had held for six years. He also served as chief technology officer at Square. 

Bob Lee started his tech career in 1997 as a web developer. He worked for Redrock Communications, Capgemini, and AT&T. He also served as head of software at PreDxion. In the 2000s, Bob Lee was a staff software engineer at Google. 

Reportedly, he had an estimated net worth of $10 million at the time of his death in April 2023. He also used to earn money through investments in SpaceX, Clubhouse, Tile, Figma, Faire, Orchid, Addressable, and Nana.
