Central African Republic: Mixed Feelings Amongst Citizens In the Aftermath of the Election

The presidential election was held on Sunday in Central African Republic, to the surprise of many, the presidential election was peaceful. President Faustin Archange Touadera remains the strong favourite to win the election that would keep him in office for a second term.

Georges Namkoïsse, a nearby rancher in Bangui capital, communicated his interests, “We are apprehensive, the ladies, the youngsters are apprehensive on the grounds that we state it regularly, our area is the Bozizé area, that is the issue, such a large number of dangers.”

Gloire-à-dieu Toussounou, a nearby columnist, shared his knowledge on the issue as he repeated the reverberating opinion of a significant number of his countrymen.

“The populace chose to defend popular government, which is the reason they activated in the capital for a gigantic scope to proceed to cast a ballot, so it’s a consolation.”
