Former President Ibrahim Boubacar Keta of Mali has died in Bamako

Mali – Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, Mali’s former president who was deposed by the military in 2020, died at his house on Sunday, according to his family. From 2013 to 2020, Mali was led by Ibrahim Boubacar Keita. A family member told AFP that President IBK (Ibrahim Boubacar Keita) died at his residence in Bamako this morning at 9 a.m. (GMT and local time). Several family members corroborated this information. In August 2020, the military deposed Mali’s president, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, who was elected in September 2013. Several members of his family and entourage corroborated this knowledge.
