Ghana: Opposition Members Damands President Akufo-Addo’s Triumph Overturned

The members of opposition in Ghana has demanded that electoral commission overturn the recent victory of President Nana Akufo-Addo in the just concluded elections due to some irregularities in the polls.

Yet, the outcome was immediately dismissed by the washout John Mahama who denounced the decision gathering and president Akufo-Addo of participating in extortion to hold power.

The political decision was the third time the two men were going head to head in a vote. Akufo-Addo has been proclaimed victor on two occassions.

The decision party has demanded that the vote was free and reasonable. The walk was generally serene.

The electoral commission validated the fairness of the election as stated by the ruling political party, security personnel has been put in place in case of any violent attack by hoodlums and vagabonds
