Kennedy Agyapong is a politician from Ghana and a successful businessman. He is famous in Africa. He has been a Member of the Parliament of Ghana since 2013.
Kennedy Agyapong was born on June 16, 1960, in Ghana. He completed his graduation at Adisadel College in the Central Region of Ghana. However, he dropped out of Fordham University, New York, United States.
Kennedy Agyapong is also the director of Assin Farms (a farming business), Supercare Group of Companies and Hollywood Shopping Centre. He is married to Stella Wilson Agyapong. He has 22 children. Kennedy Agyapong also represents Assin Central in parliament in Ghana for the New Patriotic Party. He is the head of the Communication Committee in Parliament.
Kennedy Agyapong is the owner of companies like Oman F.M., Ash F.M., Net 2 TV, Super Care Company Limited, Mina D’oro Ventures, M/S Imperial World Business Limited, and Gold Coin Communication.
As of April 2024, Kennedy Agyapong’s net worth is around $5 million. Reportedly, he earns money through his business transactions. He also invested his money in various ventures in Ghana. The politician is also among the top 10 richest men in Ghana.
In his career, he has been accused of being a drug lord. However, there is no evidence against him. Recently, the politician said that he paid GH¢1 million of the debt of the Adansi Fomena NPP Chairman.
While speaking to delegates of the NPP in Tema, he said, “The NPP will not have a majority in parliament after the 2020 elections. Because after the election, NDC had 137 parliamentarians, NPP also had 137 and there was one independent candidate.”
