Khaby Lame Makes History As He Becomes Most Followed TikToker In The World

Khaby Lame, a Senegalese-born social media influencer and content creator, has made history by becoming the most followed TikToker in the world. Currently, Lame has over 142.9 million followers on TikTok. 

He achieved this new milestone on Thursday by defeating American TikToker Charli D’Amelio. TikToker Amelio has 142.5 million. Amelio was the queen of TikTok for some time.

Khaby Lame makes funny and demonstrative videos. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he lost his job as a factory worker in Chivasso, Italy. Subsequently, he started making funny and D.I.Y videos on TikTok. Initial few videos were filmed in the Italian language. He used to dance to entertain the TikTok viewers. 

He is best known for his TikTok videos, in which he silently mocks overly complicated life hack videos. Most of his viral videos usually show a life hack by another user, which is unnecessarily deemed to be difficult. Lame’s videos simplify the same hacks by showing easy ways to perform the task. Lame is just 22 years old.
