Former President of Malawi, Peter Mutharika has eventually lost the bid to unfreeze his account which was initially frozen by the anti-corruption agency in the country due to Mutharika’s alleged involvement in corruption.

Malawi’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) last August froze the individual financial balances of Mutharika and his better half, Gertrude, in a test looking to reveal his part in a 5-billion kwacha ($6.6 million) concrete embarrassment.
