Megan Thee Stallion: We Must Shed Our Past

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has teased fans on Instagram with an eerie peek at her upcoming new music. “Just as a snake sheds its skin, we must shed our past, over and over again.”

Just in time for Halloween 2023, Megan Thee Stallion has shadows with eyes those of a snake! The 28-year-old opens her mouth and exposes her fangs. The quickly, scary but awesome clip ends with “A story by Megan Thee Stallion” and “Directed by Douglas Bernardt”.

This clip has got fans excited, and sent rumor mills churning what the new music could be about. The rapper has gotten expectations up, and now fans are demanding a horror-inspired project.

Megan and 1501 Certified Entertainment Truce

Recently, Megan Thee Stallion reached a settlement with 1501 Certified Entertainment, her former record label. They mutually reached a confidential settlement, resolving legal differences.

Carl Crawford, CEO of 1501 Certified Entertainment, said the company is pleased to announce that it resolved legal differences with the popular rapper. “During the course of this time, we have grown, we have evolved, and amicably decided to part ways.”

Megan Thee Stallion had accused the label company of preventing her from releasing new music. She was able to release a nine-track EP titled Suga only when she received a temporary restraining order against 1501 Certified Entertainment.

After the settlement, the Hot Girl Summer singer says she will not be engaging with any new record label, and will be financing her next project herself.
