About 1,300 prisoners has been freed by armed attackers in Dr Congo, it was later discovered that the attackers were the suspected allied democratic forces rebels. This has been seen as a political strategy to cause chaos and pandemonium amongst the citizen of the country.

Just around 100 detainees after the assault on Kagbayi jail on Tuesday morning.

The ADF are an Ugandan renegade gathering with bases in eastern Congo.

“We had a tally before the break of 1,456 (detainees), 110 (of them) stayed and I express gratitude toward them for that. Somewhere in the range of 20 (escapees) have just returned and I realize that others are on their way back. We’ll do a count, and work out the number of have returned”, said Modeste Bakwanamaha, the city hall leader of Beni.

This prison was used to detain erratic officers, security forces, military personnel detained during the war. This is definitely bad for the government of the country
