Nigeria Super Eagles’ strategy for AFCON trophy

Nigeria Super Eagles is preparing to win the next edition of AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations). Three-time champions Nigeria has adopted ‘Let’s Do It Again’ strategy to win a fourth Africa Cup of Nations title.

Previously, Nigeria hosted AFCON in 1980. Christian Chukwu, Nigerian former football player and coach, helped Nigeria to win the AFCON trophy that year. Nigeria also won the 1994 edition of AFCON in Tunisia and the 2013 finals in South Africa.

Nigeria has already secured its place in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, or AFCON 2023. Nigeria Super Eagles said, “We like the phrase  ‘Let’s Do It Again’ because it gives us confidence and the go-go push. We have done it before so we can do it again. Winning the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire is our goal.”
