Nigerian Singer Mish, Famous For “Akwa Ibom Ayaya,” Passes Away

Nigerian singer Mish, whose real name is Michael Aniekeme Meshach, has passed away. He became famous in 2011 with his song “Akwa Ibom Ayaya,” but after that, not much was heard from him.

Mish was from Obot Okoh Mbiaobong in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. He died in Abuja, according to a family member who confirmed the news. Mish’s death is a loss for the Nigerian music industry, which has seen the passing of several rising stars recently.
