Noah Lyles Breaks Usain Bolt’s Record, To Star In Netflix Show

Noah Lyles, an American sprinter, achieved a remarkable victory at the London Diamond League by winning the 200-meter race in just 19.47 seconds.

This time set a new World Lead and also broke his own record of 19.67 seconds, which he had set in May.

With this win, Lyles surpassed Usain Bolt’s record for the most wins under 20 seconds in 200-meter races. Before the race, both Lyles and Bolt were tied at 34 wins each.

In the same event, Femke Bol, a Dutch star, ran the third-fastest time ever in the 400-meter hurdles race, clocking 51.45 seconds.

Noah Lyles, at the age of 26, is considered one of the top sprinters and has expressed his intention to attempt a double at the upcoming World Athletics Championships.

Sprint legend Michael Johnson praised Lyles, stating that he is forging his own path as a sprinter and on his way to setting new world records, marking a new era in the sport after Bolt’s dominance.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Lyles is also set to star in a documentary series on Netflix, along with other top athletes like Fred Kerley and Dina Asher-Smith.

World Athletics is collaborating with Netflix to release a documentary series featuring top athletes, with sprinters Noah Lyles and Fred Kerley as the stars of the show.

The series will follow the athletes at various events this season and aims to increase the global reach of the sport, similar to what Formula 1’s “Drive to Survive” did for fan growth.

The Netflix show is part of World Athletics’ plan to promote athletics and engage audiences worldwide. The show’s official name and release date are yet to be announced, but it is an exciting development for athletics fans worldwide.

After breaking Usain Bolt’s record, many expect Noah Lyles to continue making strides in his sprinting career.
