Okonjo-Iweala Defeats Yoo Myung-hee In World Trade Organisation DG Election

Former Nigeria Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has defeated Yoo Myung-Hee in the World Trade Organisation Director General Election. This announcement was made in the afternoon, Okonjo-Iweala previously worked with president Cyril Ramaphosa in South Africa.

The proposal of previous World Bank overseeing chief, was made by three WTO represetatives, the alleged “carriage”.

This followed their interview with individuals in a progression of shut entryway gatherings in Geneva as a feature of a complicated and obscure cycle that some have contrasted with an ecclesiastical progression.

Okonjo-Iweala will be the first women that will hold this high position in the history of the World Trade Organisation, this will possibly aid smooth trade transaction between Africa and the World.
