The Nigeria International replied his critics with a man of the match performance in Everton’s victory over League One side, Fleetwood Town.
Iwobi’s future at Goodison Park has been a subject of debate due to the increased competition in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
However, in what was his first start after missing Everton’s opening two games of the season, Iwobi showed he still has a lot to offer in the Toffees squad.

Callum Camps scored Fleetwood’s second to raise hopes of a possible comeback, but goals from Bernard and Moise Kean secured a comfortable win for Everton.
