Twitter: New CEO Linda Yaccarino to build Twitter 2.0 along with Elon Musk

The new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twitter, Linda Yaccarino, has said that she is prepared to build Twitter 2.0 and take the business to new heights along with billionaire Elon Musk. 

Linda Yaccarino will start her position as the CEO of Twitter in six weeks. She will focus on the business operations of Twitter. Musk will be the executive chairman and chief technology officer (CTO) of Twitter. Musk will focus on product design and new technology at Twitter. 

On Sunday, Linda wrote on Twitter, “I’ve long been inspired by your vision to create a brighter future. I’m excited to help bring this vision to Twitter and transform this business together. Let’s keep the conversation going and build Twitter 2.0 together.”

On Friday, Elon Musk named Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter. Musk said that he would work with Linda to transform Twitter into an X platform or the Everything app.

Musk wrote on Twitter, “I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter! Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app.”

Linda Yaccarino is the former Chairman of Global Advertising and Partnerships at NBC Universal, an American multinational mass media and entertainment company. She left the company on Friday. NBC Universal also announced her departure.
