UAE President receives phone call from President of Comoros

The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a telephone call from Azali Assoumani, President of the Union of the Comoros, on Monday.

The two leaders discussed areas of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Comoros and explored ways of strengthening ties in various sectors, in particular the economy, investment and development, in line with the priorities and aspirations of both nations for sustainable development and prosperity for their peoples.

President Azali Assoumani underlined the strong relations between the two countries, expressing his country’s desire to extend these ties to broader cooperation with the UAE, particularly in the areas of development. He wished the UAE continued progress and prosperity under the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
