VIncent Enyeama gives update on his career

Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 03:00 pm

Former Super Eagles number one goalie Vincent Enyeama has rubbished reports that he has retired from football after finding it hard to get a club for the past three years.

Since the ex Enyimba captain was released in France in April 2017, he has not played any competitive football for any club in the world.

This has made many local media outlets to be speculating that Vincent Enyeama has hanged his gloves even though there was no announcement from the player to that effect.

The 37-year-old has been seen many times playing the game of golf in which many thought Enyeama may have shifted concentration from football to golf.

But while speaking with FrunSports according to Complete Sports, Enyeama stated emphatically that he is not done yet with football claiming that he wants to play again.

“I enjoy playing golf so I understand the confusion. I have been staying in shape.

“It is not secret that I love football and I am still in contention to play again,” Vincent Enyeama explained.
