King Mohammed VI of Morocco, President Mohamed Ghazouani of Mauritania and President Mohamed Ben Zayed of the United Arab Emirates recently met in Dubai to discuss this trilateral initiative which is an important step in enhancing the diplomatic and commercial connections between Morocco, Mauritania and the United Arab Emirates is this working session between the three figures.
According to the Moroccan press, “if the negotiations are still in their infancy, the geopolitical institute Horizons is already talking about an agreement in principle. This agreement could well mark the beginning of a radical transformation of the economic landscape of the Sahel.”
