The only US police officer charged in connection with the fatal capturing of Breonna Taylor in her condo pleaded no longer responsible Monday, according to a couple of reports. 

Louisville police detective Brett Hankison, who was once fired in June, used to be indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment in the first diploma in a Kentucky court docket hearing. The prices stem from shots fired into an adjacent property.

Hankison’s attorney asked the choose to allow Hankison to maintain his gun, citing loss of life threats the former police officer received, but the judge rejected the request.

Hankison used to be one of three officers who faced viable expenses associated to the March thirteen deadly raid that left Taylor, 26, dead after police performed a no-knock warrant at her Louisville residence.

Taylor, a Black healthcare worker, used to be shot eight times in her home as officers and her boyfriend exchanged gunfire while police tried to lift out a narcotics raid.
