Wavel Ramkalawan has been declared winner of the presidential election in Seychelles, Ramkalawan defeated incumbent President Danny Faure.
A minister, Ramkalawan had looked for the administration multiple times before rising triumphant. His success closes the predominance of the United Seychelles Party, which has represented since 1977.
Ramkalawan of the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa party crusaded on the vow to raise the Indian Ocean nation’s lowest pay permitted by law.
This marks a new age in Seychelles as Ramkalawan won the election by pulling a whopping 55% of the vote, He is the main opposition to incumbent president Danny Faure.
