They were losing after Guinea’s Mohamed Bayo scored a penalty in the 20th minute. But then Chancel Mbemba from DR Congo scored a goal, making it 1-1.
In the second half, things turned around for DR Congo. They got a penalty after Julian Jeanvier from Guinea fouled Silas. Yoane Wissa, who plays for Brentford, scored from the penalty, putting DR Congo in the lead.
Guinea tried to come back, but they couldn’t. The final nail in the coffin was Arthur Masuaku’s free-kick, which surprised Guinea’s goalkeeper, Ibrahim Kone.
