The 2025 Metro FM Music Awards took place on May 3rd at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga, and the event showcased the best talent in South African music. The entire list of winners and nominations came out today after a big show.
Limpopo’s Makhadzi was the evening’s biggest winner, taking home Artist of the Year. Xolly Mncwango surprised many, having won twice in gospel categories. From amapiano to hip hop, this was an evening to remember for a young and vibrant industry.
