AFCON 2019: Atlas Lions leave it late

The Atlas Lions of Morocco scored a late minute goal to break South Africa’s heart as they qualified to the next round with maximum points.
Morocco pushed South Africa to the limit, with the Atlas Lions making series of attempt to break the deadlock but South Africa remained watertight in the defence.
Morocco made use of the flanks so well as they aimed to penetrate via Nordin Amrabat. South Africa came into the game gradually as they connect their pass so well but they obviously lacked the cutting edge to get a chance to score a goal.
Morocco defender Da Costa was quick enough to act to check an attempt from South Africa attacker.
The first half ended 0-0.
The Bafana Bafana put up a brilliant show in the early minute of the second half, they almost break the deadlock but their effort went narrowly off the mark.
Morocco threw all at South Africa but they were unable to get the opener after 80 minutes of play as the Bafana Bafana did well to silent the Atlas Lion attacking line, Morocco best chance to break the deadlock was crashed against the woodwork after a thunderous shot from Acraf Hakimi.
Morocco captain Moubarak Boussoufa broke the South African’s heart in the 90th minute of the clash as he fired in a rebound inside the box to make it 1-0.
