Africans Must Have ‘Spirit of Entrepreneurship’ – Jack Ma

Jack Ma founder of Chinese conglomerate Alibaba says if Africa wants to build a sustainable economic growth each African must have the spirit of entrepreneurship.

The Chinese billionaire was speaking at the Africa Netpreneur conference in Accra on Saturday 16th November 2019.

He noted that “If Africa wants to develop if Africa wants to have sustainable growth, the most important thing is using creative innovative ways and we need entrepreneurs to join forces together to develop Africa. Not everybody can be an entrepreneur but everybody should have an entrepreneurial spirit.”

Jack Ma who is globally known for his entrepreneurial spirit and starting an e-commerce business in the early 90’s where the internet was new in China and has grown into a multibillion-dollar business also advised entrepreneurs to solve problems of the society and never give.

Talking about how Africa can develop and build a sustainable economy, he talked about the four “e” which he said are extremely important to the growth of the continent.
