Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Sammini, will on November 28- 30, 2019 share his experiences in the music space at this year’s music in Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES).
According to organisers, ACCES is a pan-African trade event for music industry players to exchange ideas, discover new talent and create business linkages. He said on ‘the Zone’ with Jon Germain that, “ACCES is held in a different African city every year, attracting music industry players from across the globe. It was previously held in Kenya and South Africa”
Speaking on Starr FM with Jon Germain on ‘The Zone’, the High-Grade Family boss said, “it’s a delight to share the stage with some great names in Africa music industry and also to share our experiences to help the young people in music learn and get it right in their endeavours.”
The event is said to have music industry experts including Samini, Akon, Sarkodie, Efya, Obrafour, Kyekyeku, John Collins, Ebo Taylor, Bibie Brew and Wanlov the Kubolo to share their knowledge of the complex music industry in Africa with local and international delegates.
ACCES 2019 will have a variety of activities which include; carefully-curated panel discussions, exhibition, networking and pitching sessions, production workshops and showcase (live performances) by musical acts from Africa and the diaspora.
The event will be held at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, for the conference programes, Alliance Francaise, for evening live performances on 28 and 30 November and the Gold Coast Hub for performances on 29 November.
