Breaking: 404 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria

Nigeria on Wednesday night time recorded 404 fresh COVID-19 cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which established this on its Twitter handle, said the clean instances had been recorded in 19 states of the federation and Abuja.

It added that 5 people died from issues resulting from the virus on Wednesday.

Consequently, the quantity of COVID-19fatalities expanded from 868 to 873. Also, the complete variety of verified instances extended to 42,208.

Meanwhile, 19,004 patients have been discharged from a range of isolation facilities throughout Nigeria as at Wednesday night.

The breakdown of the figure on a state-by-state basis published the following: Lagos (106), FCT (54), Rivers (48), Plateau (40), Edo (29), Enugu (21), Oyo (20), Kano (18), Ondo (15) and, Ogun (10).

Others are – Ebonyi (9), Ekiti (8), Kaduna (6), Cross River (5), Kwara (4), Anambra (3), Delta (3), Imo (2), Nasarawa (2) and, Borno (1).
